2011 has been a solid year with so many amazing albums. i love lists but somehow making a list of my favorite albums of the year seems like i am hurting one of my best band's feelings haha. but here are my favorites just to name a few...

radiohead, fleet foxes, adele, bon iver, decemberist, death cab, beruit, wilco, coldplay, florence + the machine, black keys, iron and wine, st. vincent, the civil wars, cults, noah and the whale, the war on drugs and so many more. just between bon iver, fleet foxes and radiohead how can you get a better year than that?

also not to forget really good local bands: Desert Noises as well as The Moth and the Flame. sooooo goooood.

2011 treated me well, 10 billion times better than 2010, 2009 or even 2008. hopefully 2012 will turn out just as spunky as this one

kindle for christmas....book suggestions? open to any and all!

i made a terrarium today. i'm testing out my green thumb and since a terrarium is basically suppose to keep itself alive, i really hope this works. otherwise, what does that say about my gardening skills haha?

one of my (lame) new years resolutions for 2011 was learning how to whistle. (i have the most random resolutions possible). i am still pretty stinky at whistling so come on people! we've got two weeks left to make this happen. if you have any whistling tricks and tips let me know
