Concerning The UFO Sighting Near Highland, Illinois

    I love this picture for the following: a) it is my first print of film that I developed to come out looking spick and span*- no scratches/dust/water spots, b) it combines three things I love immensely & have considered pursuing-- photography, graphic design (the typography) and architecture and finally, c) the homeless man's possessions  hiding behind the bike rack. Hey, if I was homeless, I'd probably seek refuge at a library too.

I am terribly excited for spring/summer. soon i can wear my cheap u.o. shoes without them becoming soaked from the snow and rain. soon i can go on walks. soon school will be over and it will be may--possibly the best month of my life between vacationing in hawaii and mary's wedding!

I officially can say that I don’t miss high school anymore. (Good thing it has taken me almost an entire school year to come to the conclusion that college is much much better than high school.) Huzzah! Good luck to all you AP test takers during the first weeks of May. While you are remembering who is Muybridge and why he is important, I will be laying on Hawaii’s beautiful beaches probably drinking a pineapple smoothie. No hard feelings though.

today my favorite ginger (besides the weasleys) suggested that I actually write on my blog...huh? write actual words on my blog? who does that? 

I have been anti-blog-writing since the creation of this lovely blog but I have been getting a little bit bored with just the one photo a day so maybe you will see more words along with my photos.   we'll see....(isn't it such an exciting possibility!?!) as for now i have a huge pile of laundry waiting to be folded and a slideshow to make about quasars.
